I've used one of these stoppers in a bottle of white wine that I've kept sideways in the fridge for a few months now. Wine still tastes great (I use it for cooking) and the stopper hasn't leaked.

These are fun wine stoppers and cute too. It is rare that a bottle of wine in our household has to be corked back up again but when we do we use one of these. Highly recommended.

I use these wine stoppers for all my white wines to keep them fresh in the fridge. Be careful laying wine on it's side as this stopper may allow dripping. Also, any champagne or sparkling wines are not going to work for this type of stopper.

I love these! They are the best everyday wine stoppers that I have found. Very easy to use and very easy to clean. I even use them as stoppers for homemade oils or vinegars. I highly recommend them! The only negative on ordering online is the shipping costs were way too high. More than double the actual cost of the items. I was told this is how the vendors can sell items for low cost, they make it up in shipping fees. I was no longer able to find them at retail stores so I had to order online.
