At first I was very skeptical about purchasing this product because of the previous review, but I really wanted it for my party. The product info sounded good and I wanted to try it for myself. I used the upgraded hoses and everything worked great. It was the hit of the party! I would recommend this product.

This thing is a blast!
The mold is made from a really sturdy plastic. It's really cool that it is reusable, I have already made 3 luges back to back. These luges have been the hit of the party!
Everyone really likes the different lighting modes, especially the fade from color to color.
The only drawback is that it does take a little bit of time to freeze, because it is so big.
I would recommend this product!

The Luge is really not big enough to actually chill liquor and the ice started to crack after about 2 hours in 40 degree weather but I wasn't really expecting much. If you can find an ice company to make one for you, choose that alternative, if you can't then this will suffice.

The lights on the lighting unit broke after testing it just one time! Totally disappointed

I was SO dissapointed in this product. I followed the directions exactly as stated on the box. When trying to pull the tubes out, they broke! Which meant they were stuck inside and I was left with a huge block of ice that I could do nothing with. This was meant for a party and all it did was create a dissapointment. I would NOT reccommend buying this.
