We enjoyed having these cups for the Kentucky Derby and helped make the gathering of friends seem closer to being at the Derby minus the rain. However, we found that they are great for keeping drinks cold when we sit out on the deck at night. I keep them in the freezer and we have anything from chilled tea to cocktails. They also make an elegant serving dish for fruit freezes.

Out of eight ordered, two had poor surface quality. They are still functional, and once they get frosty from the ice, the flaws don't even show.
