This is a great shaker. It completely seals, which is unusual for a shaker, they usually leak!!! This one has a rubber gasket that works well.

We have had a few shakers and this one is the most beautiful one...the quality is great. So far, I have not had any leaks during the shaking...I have had a couple of these and throw them out. The blue glass is rippled so it is easier to grasp...it is a tad heavy in weight, but I got used to it easily because the quality is nice. I also like the size...it is on the larger size of the ones I have so I don't feel pressed for space when making a drink.

Ordered it on Thursday afternoon with 2 day shipping. UPS dropped it off Friday afternoon in time for the cocktail hour. It is beautiful, doesn't leak, came with an extra gasket. Only down sides is that is made in China...had I only known! But, it is very nice and goes well with our cocktail glasses. It is darker than pictured which is a plus for me. Great job to the company for getting it here so fast!

Substantial shaker. Feels good, looks goods, seals good, pours good. If you're gonna make a martini or some other shaked drink make it look special.

This really is the perfect shaker. It's gorgeous, yes--I'm happy to display it on my bar cart--but it also works great! It's big enough to mix 2-3 drinks at a time, the wide mouth makes it easy to muddle fruit and herbs without hitting the side of my hand on the rim (something that's a constant problem for me with cheap metal shakers), and I can shake my margaritas, Manhattans, and martinis like a maniac without ever worrying about leaks. Seriously, it doesn't leak at all. I was a little concerned that the glass might either be too easy to break or too heavy to handle easily, but it's quite sturdy and not at all heavy. It feels great in my hands and is a pleasure to use. I was happy that they included an extra gasket so I don't have to go hunting for a new one when it's time to replace it.
