Pictures slide into a metal sleeve on the back of each coaster, where they are protected from wet drinks. Photos are easy to retrieve again so they can be updated with replacements. Four rubber feet on the bottom of the coasters protect coffee tables from scratches. When cocktail hour is over, all coasters stack neatly in the accompanying contemporary black wood stand. I love these photo coasters. I had a very similar set that I bought in a store for three times the price and then I found these for such a great deal on Amazon.com that I bought a couple of sets to give as gifts. They are great for baby pictures, old black and white family photos or wedding pictures and they do create quite a stir among guests when they lift their glass and find a great photograph underneath. Nice to display on a coffee table also. The price is deceiving because they look quite expensive, they are heavy and good quality.

I absolutely love my coasters. I have them displayed on my coffee table at home and they make a great conversation piece when I have guests over. They can see all of my pictures.

I was looking for a very unique gift to "personalized" for an artist/photographer friend. I bought several sets. One set I filled with black & white photos, the other color. The artist has actually spread these coasters throughout their home, i.e. one under drinking glass in bathroom, several on end table in guest room. These are well made and make a great presentation. Also used as office gift and filled with co-workers photos as memento. I will purchase more of these as need arises!

We just purcahsed these coasters and what a GREAT buy! I put black/white photos of our baby daughter and they look so spectacular! I would highly reccomend this product -- would also make a great personalized gift!
