Made of 18/8 stainless steel with a high polished finish that will not tarnish or corrode. Holds 16 ounces. Matches Oneida bar tool set and ice pail (each sold separately). Dishwasher safe. Wash by hand for best results. Imported. 9Hx3-1/2" dia.
Amazon.com Review James Bond himself probably has a cool cocktail shaker just like this one in his home (although we've never actually seen his home, have we?). Standing 8-1/2 inches tall with the cap on, this bright and shiny Oneida cocktail shaker is made of durable and tasteful 18/8 stainless steel, with a special hand-polished finish that won't tarnish or corrode. It comes with a lifetime warranty, so martinis can be shaken, not stirred, as often as you like. It's also dishwasher-safe, for removing incriminating fingerprints. --Doree Armstrong

The Classic Martini Shaker July 5, 2001 Al the Pal (The Fruited Plain, United States) 22 out of 24 found this review helpful
A shaker like this is not meant for cream drinks and other concoctions; this should be used for pure liquor drinks, such as martinis and manhattans. I can hear Sean Connery in my mind every time I get this out...."very dry, shaken - not stirred."It has an 18 ounce capacity, which will chill martinis for two quite easily. The top is a two stage affair; the main part has a strainer built in so your "neat" martini will be ice free, the small cap also doubles as a 1-1/2 ounce jigger and will stand up on the counter as you pour. The stainless steel is highly polished on the outside and brush finished inside. One of my favorite recipes for this contraption is Chocolate Martinis for two: fill the cup about two-thirds full of ice cubes; measure two capfuls of vodka and one capful of white cream de cocoa; shake for about 20 seconds and pour through the strainer top into two martini glasses. You can add a cherry garnish in this martini if you like. After about two of these, the cold steel will be no bother; if it is, a dampened (for grip), white napkin wrapped around the cup is a genteel way to insulate your hand from the cold concoction within. Whether you are entertaining the neighbors or just "007," this will be a handsome and useful addition to your collection of mixicological accouterments.

Sometimes a cocktail shaker is just a cocktail shaker! Which describes this simple and elegant solution to martini making. It's stainless steel, and (surprise!) it does get cold during proper use. Has a convenient built in strainer and you can crank out the martinis at a feverish pace. Looks nice just sitting on the bar, too. It's the epitome of the basic-yet-functional 20 buck cocktail shaker. Salud!
Nice shaker for one or two people April 21, 2006 J. Kuras (Long Beach, CA USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I purchased this shaker a couple of years ago and have given it a lot of use. First let me say that this is a very good shaker and performs very well. I read some of the other reviews and I have not encountered any problems with the lid sticking or the shaker leaking. It performs as advertised and is a good value for the money. The only drawback might be if you want to make cocktails for more than two people at a time. It's a bit small for that IMO but if you are mixing for one or two folks at a time, it's the perfect size. Another plus is that after many washings (by hand only), the finish has held up like it was brand new. Along with performance and functionality, it is a durable product as well.
I love it. January 30, 2007 DST (SF) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
It's just the right size, seems a little more substantial than other stainless steel shakers I've held, and I haven't had any of the hard-to-open-once-you've-made-a-cocktail problems.
No trouble getting the top off August 14, 2002 Sara E Kelley (Baltimore, MD USA) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have used this jigger several times a week since I got it back in November, and I think it's great. I often make a second round with it. It is difficult to remove the top with the jigger on, but otherwise it comes off fine as long as you open it up right after you make and pour a round of drinks.
